An eventful day at @scapesg today with @lestersullivan and @hydhirramli , getting all the gear at SCAPE up to speed.

If you haven’t heard, @thedrummerco is a community of drummers who gather together to promote the percussive arts. With the help of a stellar committee of volunteers, a regular stream of activities and workshops have been planned for, in partnership with SCAPE.

For the best possible experience, Pantheon Percussion partnered with SCAPE to ensure that their drumming gear is well serviced, heads refreshed, and cymbals upgraded. Only the best for our little community of drummers.

Stay updated for updates and events organised by @thedrummerco on all social platforms!

Pantheon Orchestral: Nine New Orchestral Sticks Released

  • April 22, 2019
  • by Golf Lima Papa
  • · 1. Announcements · 4. Others · 7. Uncategorized · 8. Photos

Pantheon Orchestral now has NINE new types of orchestral snare drum sticks! This is the first of several new varieties of sticks for the orchestral market.

Available with three different head configurations and three different kinds of woods, we have something for every percussionist out there.

We chose Hickory for familiarity and light weight, followed by Bubinga for its liveliness and medium heft, and finally Jatoba, for its density and stability.

Made by our partners @cranndrumsticks in Hungary, these premium sticks are of the finest quality, but reasonably priced because there are no middlemen, only us.

Come try them at the shop. You just might find something you like.

Pantheon Percussion: Meinl Byzance 20” Extra Thin Hammered Crash Surgery

  • April 21, 2019
  • by Golf Lima Papa
  • · 10. Cymbals · 4. Others · 7. Uncategorized · 8. Photos

Dion brought in his Meinl Byzance 20” Extra Thin Hammered Crash with a dreadful crack close to the edge.

Oddly enough, it didn’t crack at the edge, so I had to make a more difficult cut to remove the affected area. Cymbal surgery took quite a while because I didn’t want to wear out either the hand drill or my hand like the last time; no joy in rushing the job. As you can hear from the video it sounds pretty good now. It’s got a pretty cool handle too.

You know where to go if you have cymbal problems: we’ve been repairing cymbals for the past eight years plus. We know what we’re doing.

Pantheon Percussion: Often Copied, Never Matched

  • April 6, 2019
  • by Golf Lima Papa
  • · 1. Announcements · 3. Snares · 7. Uncategorized · 8. Photos

Sometimes, you just have to cut them by hand. Yes, bearing edges can be shaped by hand if the shell calls for it.

Extreme passion, innovative design, uncompromising quality. Often copied, never matched.
