In collaboration with Audio Technica and James Lye, we conducted a drum tuning and studio recording workshop at Lasalle College of the Arts on the 24th of October.
On 7th November I will be conducting another such workshop for SMU students, this time, only drum tuning. Not long after I will be conducting a similar workshop for ITE Central students.
On the 21st of November, I am conducting a snare tuning workshop for anyone who wants to sign up. The location will depend on the number of people who sign up. It is free. Just drop me a message at 97254846 and we can talk from there.
We will have more courses in november and december, all free.
Today in the workshop: Irwan Shah brought his pre-badge 14×6.5 satin black custom aluminium snare in for some repairs and a badge.
It had a broken lug, no badge, and had some TERRIBLE snare wires. No problem, because we fixed those and even replaced the old black tension rods to new chrome ones. Now it looks and sounds a lot more cohesive.
I love how we get the chance to right the wrongs of the past when we were more inexperienced. There are such things as second chances.
Have a snare problem? Bring then in! We await you at our Bras Basah show-workshop.
Pantheon Percussion Standard Drumsticks: Unbranded drumsticks at a great price!
Today in the workshop: packing 10 pairs of our standard 5A sticks for @drumstruck_studios in our improved packaging.
Did you know that putting a logo onto sticks actually raises their price significantly? We decided to forgo any logos on our standard sticks to increase their affordability.
We understood early on that there is a market for unbranded sticks. Music Schools and Corporates love them because these sticks are a neutral palette upon which these organisations can enhance their own branding.
Students and working musicians appreciate their low price as these super durable hickory sticks last twice as long as brand name sticks; they just aren’t as pretty. But who actually cares if they save you time and money?
Also, blind loyalty to any particular brand is just stupid, and expensive. A real value proposition is most important.
If these aren’t the right fit for you, you can always build a custom stick with us from African Bubinga, White Hickory, or North American Maple. Drop by to see what you need!
Pantheon Percussion: fully custom drumsticks for Singaporeans. NO MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY.
Need drumsticks that are as original as you? Get them done in African Bubinga, White Hickory, or North American Maple.
This was only possible with the support of our Hungarian partners, Crann Drumsticks. Come down to the workshop, talk with us, and visualise your dream drumsticks with the interactive “stick-builder”. Drop by soon!
