20” Purpleheart bass and snare glued up and mounted onto the lathe. We rely on our expert friend @greenfielddrums to do this for us because we simply don’t have lathes that are big enough, nor have enough timber variety in Singapore. It’s ok, we do what we can!
We will be offering several such stave drums over the coming months. These are entire drum kits, snares, and concert toms made from exotic timbers, not just veneers over the usual plywoods.
We will be offering the best tone woods from around the world including Bocote, Jatoba, Padauk, Blackwood, Jarrah, and many others. We will also offer these kits in the staple tone woods like maple, cherry, walnut, mahogany, etc.
