We would like to officially welcome Benjamin Lim to the Pantheon Percussion family! Benjamin plays a satin black 13×6.5 steam-bent Birch snare with brass/gold hardware. Benjamin currently endorses SJC drums as well.

Benjamin is an extremely hardworking and versatile player who has extensive reach in different styles of music.

Benjamin plays with post-hardcore band “Villes”, who are signed to japanese label Zestone Records, topping the charts on iTunes twice in 2014. “Villes” is currently preparing for the release of their second album in late 2016.

Ben also plays in veteran death metal band “Oshiego”, and rock’ and roll band, “V’s”, who are currently signed to Hong Kong label, Sun entertainment culture. Benjamin will also be sharing the stage with legendary rock band ‘Beyond’ in July 2016. On top of that Ben plays every night in the canto/mando pop industry.

Ben has toured extensively with his bands in Japan, Australia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and many more. He has also attended world renowned drum educator Mike Johnston’s drum camp in Seattle, US. Even Mike is a fan of his playing!

With all these achievements, one might forget that he is a 25 year old.

“Enough” is about trying to live up to the expectations of someone else, and that’s something we experience in both our personal lives and as a band. It’s been 3 years since our EP release, and we’ve finally realised that the only way we could be content is to be ourselves and not what everyone thinks we should be.

This marks a brand new chapter for The Summer State.
