Riduan, affectionally known as ‘Uan Abang’ to us, was one of the few artistes to believe in us and grow with us. We had many discussions about how we could support him his work and how we could help him get the sound he wanted. We settled on two snares: one as a main snare for his regular work here in Singapore, and a lighter, smaller one for his many travels abroad. The first, a 13 x 7 Starglow White Acrylic snare with built in LED and controller, features custom red and blue hardware. His second ‘travelling’ snare, a 10-ply 12 x 5 Maple snare in White Marine Pearl, also features custom red and blue hardware. We wish him many more successes as one of the foremost young cultural ambassadors of our nation!
