Pantheon Percussion: Pablo Calzado playing with Havana Social Club at MEDINI LIVE!

Pantheon Percussion family member, Pablo Calzado will be playing with Havana Social Club at MEDINI LIVE! Pablo features his Amboynia Burl veneer maple snare with stellar hoops as always. Got to love it!

MEDINI LIVE! is the inaugural festival of music, film, arts and community presented by Medini Iskandar Malaysia. Medini Live! will launch the new, urban and sophisticated art spaces of Iskandar Malaysia at the Mall of Medini, The Black Box and The White Box. Medini Live! promises a jam-packed weekend of live music, film screenings, contemporary art, theatre and an international bazaar.

Havana Social Club is a group that specialize in cuban music and from latin america, the main purpose of the band is to expose more of the cuban culture and their music in Asia and the world. We have members from Cuba, Singapore, Mexico and we all share the passion for the sound and the vibrancy of the cuban music and latin music.

Also as a tribute to the amazing Buena Vista Social Club that has been a very important impulse to the international audience to get to know the cuban music.
Havana SC has been together and performing in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur for a year now in 2014 at venues such as Blu Jazz Cafe , The Sultan Jazz Club , The Shan-grila Hotel , No Black Tie Jazz Club (KL) , The Fullerton Hotel , Dains Festival 2013 (Esplanade) , Publika Jazz Festival 2013 (KL), etc.
The group has been Formed by Pablo Calzado Morales( Cuban Drummer and Percussionist ).
