We are so proud to have supported the album launch for ‘Oscilla’, the latest album to be birthed from the loins of The Observatory!
We’ve been a great fan of The Observatory or ‘The Obs’ for short for a long time, so we approached drummer Cheryl Ong and offered to provide some sticks and a snare for her use. As you can see from the video their current sound is very energetic and hard edged, so she needed gear that could take the punishment. We provided her with our thickest 2B and 5B sticks, as well as a large 10-ply 14 x 7 maple snare to lend firepower to the aural assault. The end result was an awe-inspiring and thunderous performance by The Obs. Check them out.
